This this session is unique to Serenity Warrior wellness fully immerse yourself into this two hour and 30 minutes restorative combination including
90 minutes of Thai Yoga Massage on the Mat and 60 minutes of a traditional customized massage on the table
The Thai yoga Massage on the Mat will allow your autonomic nervous system to restore and then 60 minutes of traditional table massage utilizing -light, medium, and deep pressure throughout the session to relax and let it all settle in
the first 90 minutes is done wearing traditional, Thai yoga massage clothing, loose fitting pants shirt that allows for full motion with no binding, and the ability to breathe deeply with full rib expansion
only one layer of clothing is best as most undergarments will bind and pinch
the second part of session is preformed on the table you will be given privacy to disrobe and we will use traditional sheet draping for the 60 min table massage

What is Thai Yoga massage on mat ? What to wear?
Serenity Warrior wellness provides traditional Thai massage it is performed on the mat on the floor. The practitioner and the receiver are both dressed in loose fitting clothing that allows freedom of movement and un constricted breathing.
Thai massage dates back 2500 years it was performed in the Buddhist temples in Thailand .
The type of clothing varies to your level of comfort typically what is worn for a yoga class would be appropriate ( however compression clothing is not recommended )
To get the most benefit from a session the best choice of clothing would be all cotton or linen, loose fitting pants and shirts,( to us modern people that would look like pajamas) also in order to have unrestricted movement it is recommended to wear one layer of clothing .
avoid tight fitting undergarments like men’s tight boxers or things like thongs or G strings can be binding,sports bras and men’s chest compression shirts are usually too constricted to allow for the ribs to move in natural deep breaths . preferably a loose fitting shirt and pants . avoid v necks or any items that may require constant adjustments.
THAI YOGA MASSAGE has been described as assisted hatha yoga where in receiving, one is also receiving the benefits of the practice of yoga .
A Thai massage also incorporates martial arts moves, rhythmic motion, palming and thumbing along energy lines. General stretching and breath work
creating a slow flowing “Dance“ around and with the recipient body .
In addition to stretching, and “Tonifying “ the muscles. Thai massage improves circulation, relieves muscular tension and spasm, helps expedite metabolism, boost the immune system , balances the body energetically which induces a calm, mental state (or return to homeostasis).
